Mark Kelnhofer, CFBE, MBA, President and CEO of Return On Ingredients®, has more than 20 years of experience in bottom line-boosting accounting. He spent 20 years in managerial cost accounting refining his methods including seven years in restaurant cost management. When these two areas of expertise are combined, his one-of-a-kind methodology was born.
Mark holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Accounting and Business Administration from Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio. He is also a Certified Food & Beverage Executive (CFBE) through the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI). Mark also is currently a Lecturer of The Ohio State University instructing Food, Beverage, and Labor Cost Controls as well as an Adjunct Faculty member at Ohio University instructing Hospitaltiy Accounting.

Hal Hodgson, Director of Creative Services at Return On Ingredients®, is a multi-talented professional with four decades of experience in all areas of food services, including advertising and marketing on local, national and international scenes. His talents include account management, copy writing, creative supervision and art direction, broadcast, movie and music production, photography and restaurant consulting.
Hal is Partner and Creative Director at The Marketing Deli, a San Diego full-service advertising agency working with clients in California, Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, Florida and Hawaii as well as the Creative Director for Return On Ingredients. For more than two decades Hal has been listed annually in Who's Who In Advertising in America, and Who's Who In Advertising In The World. He has won more than 200 creative awards.
He has worked with numerous national, regional and local restaurant chains and independents including McDonald's, KFC, Jack In The Box, Cold Stone Creamery, Dairy Queen, Rockin' Baja Coastal Cantina, Taco Time and Trader Vic's.
Restaurant consulting includes management, staff training, menu engineering, design and production, advertising and marketing including websites, social media and online advertising. He is constantly developing new food and beverage concepts.
He is Marketing Consultant for the Food & Beverage Association of San Diego, also directs the membership committee and is Roundtable host.
Hal's academic background includes a B. A. Degree from San Diego State University - College of Arts and Letters, post-graduate studies at SDSU, UCLA - School of Journalism and The University of Hawaii.
